Pedestrian held with ‘ganja’

JAMMU, Aug 2: Panjtirthi police arrested a pedestrian along with ganja.
As per police sources, during checking at Circular Road, a team from Panjtirthi police post intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 500 grams ganja from the possession of the man and arrested him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Badri Parsad, son of Kirti Ram, a resident of Chattisgarh, presently residing in Panjtirthi.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Pacca Danga police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Panjtirthi police post SI Vikas Hans made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Vivek Shekhar Sharma and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
