JAMMU, May 22: A pedestrian was killed, when an unknown vehicle hit him at Smailpur road, a police official said.
The victim has been identified as Mohammad Faroz (25), son of Mohammad Anif of Bihar, at present Bari-Brahmana.
After completing legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Bari Brahmana police has taken cognizance in this regard.
