JAMMU, Mar 12: Domana Police has recovered 4 grams of heroin (chitta) and a cash amount of Rs 30,450 from a drug peddler.
“While performing vehicle checking duty at Domana naka, a team of Police Station apprehended one motorcycle rider namely Abdul Hamid son of late Abdul Rashid, resident of Javed Nagar (Nikki Tawi, Jammu) along with his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02DG-8255 and during checking, 4 grams of heroin like psychotropic substance and a cash amount of Rs 30,450 was recovered from the possession,” a police spokesman said.
He said the accused was arrested and a case FIR Number 53/2024 U/S 08/21/22 NDPS Act was registered against him at Police Station Domana. “The arrest and recovery was made by a police team headed by SHO Domana Inspector Arun Sharma, assisted by PSI Murtaza Rehman.
