PDP’s main focus on infrastructure building in agriculture: Vikramaditya

JAMMU, Nov 27: Exhorting youth of Jammu region to become part of the campaign for change in the State, senior PDP leader, Vikramaditya Singh today said that PDP under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed to establish a new system of justice and equality in Jammu and Kashmir.
While addressing a public meeting in Bagani Village in Nagrota Constituency in support of party contesting candidate, Choudhary Hussain Ali Waffa, he said Mufti as CM had carved out a path of equitable and balanced development in the State.
He reminded that special focus was given to the neglected and backward areas of Jammu region.
Vikramaditya said, if party comes to power, PDP will focus on infrastructure building in agriculture to give a fillip to the State economy and recruitment drive in belt forces so as to provide both employment and sense of security to the local inhabitants.
PDP State secretary and contesting candidate from Nagrota Assembly segment, Waffa in his address lashed out at the State Government of allegedly failing to provide basic amenities to the people of Nagrota Assembly segment.
He said Nagrota constituency is still suffering due to lack of basic amenities like road connectivity, water, electricity and ration. Education and health sectors in this belt are in bad shape, he said adding that even the students are also suffering due to staff shortage and lack of infrastructure in schools.
Waffa called upon the people to compare performance of PDP led Government with the mis-governance of present Government.
Seeking support of the people to establish a new system of justice and good governance in State, Waffa asked people to vote and support him and his party in forthcoming Assembly elections.
Ex-MLC Nizam Din Khatana, Ex-MLC Ved Mahajan, Hameed Choudhary, Rashpal Singh Bitu, Rashid Malik, Kuldeep Sharma, Showkat Choudhary, Naseeb-ul-lah, Nanak Chand, Hassan Hussain and Razaq Choudhary were prominent among those present during the rally.
