BARI BRAHAMANA, Nov 6: Urging the people of Jammu to repose confidence in the programmes and policies of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to bring change in the system of governance, senior party leader Vikramaditya Singh today said that PDP has emerged as a strong regional force representing true aspirations of the all regions and sub-regions of the State.
Addressing a function after inaugurating party office at Bari-Brahamana for Dr Harmesh Slathia, candidate for Vijaypur Assembly segment, Mr Singh said that with the support of people, PDP has emerged as strong alternative to the National Conference. “Being a biggest regional force of J&K, there is a decisive role ahead for the PDP in shape destiny for the State and its people”, he said while seeking support of the people of party candidate Dr Harmesh Singh Slathia. The office at Bari-Brahamana was opened by Pritam Sharma.
“Only PDP has potential to provide credible alternative of National Conference because this party during its earlier tenure in the Government and as well as in opposition has proved how to address aspirations of the people”, he said and urged people of Jammu region to repose their faith in PDP for political empowerment and balanced economic growth.
Observing that neither Congress nor BJP has potential to emerge as alternative of National Conference, Vikramaditya Singh assured the people that PDP leadership has credentials and vision to safe guard interests of all sections of the society.
PDP candidate from Vijaypur, Harmesh Singh Slathia also addressed the gathering and appealed the people to vote and support him in Assembly election.
