JAMMU, Nov 11: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today released election manifesto for Jammu West Constituency.
The election manifesto was released by PDP candidate from Jammu West constituency Sarv Daman Bhasin in presence of district coordinator Geeta Thakur and other party leaders and workers.
According to the manifesto, the party has assured the people to pursue for holding immediate municipal elections for Jammu Municipal Corporation, regular supply of drinking water and electricity in the constituency, flyover projects to be undertaken for speedy construction, enhancement of widow and old age pension to Rs 2,000 per month, irrational exorbitant electricity bills to be taken up for rectification, donation of 10 per cent of salary as MLA West to the needy widows, creation of Sub District Hospital in Talab Tillo, introduction of self employment schemes for skilled and un-skilled women folk, upgradation of lanes and drains, BPL issues, garbage lifting, UEED issues and covering of nallahs in entire Jammu West constituency, traffic hazards to be taken up for speedy redressal, reservation of Christians and Valmiki and regularization of unauthorized colonies of Jammu West.
