JAMMU, Feb 4: To mitigate miseries of the flood affected families of Nagrota Assembly segment, senior leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Vikramaditya Singh provided blankets to needy people of the area.
A function was held today at PDP office Nagrota in which blankets were distributed among the needy people by Choudhary Hussain Ali Waffa, senior leader of the PDP who had contested assembly election from this segment.
Speaking on the occasion, Choudhary Hussain Ali Waffa expressed this gratitude towards Vikramaditya Singh for providing blankets for the needy people. He regretted that authorities have failed to provide relief to the flood affected families.
Waffa regretted that five months have passed but authorities have failed to provide relief to the all the affected families. He impressed upon the authorities to expedite relief and rehabilitation so that the affected families, who have lost everything in the floods, could restart their lives.
Senior leader Satpal Charak, Kuljeet Jamwal, Parvez Waffa and many others were present on the occasion.
