PDP Cell for healing touch to migrants’ scars

JAMMU, Dec 21: PDP Migrant Cell of Kokernag Assembly Segment in a meeting here today discussed various problems of the displaced Pandits.
Addressing the meeting Nana Ji Wattal its chairman said that the community is leading a refugee life for over 27 years now and the youth are totally depressed as no relaxation has been given to them in employment nor have been they considered eligible under Rehbar-e-Taleem or Rehbar -e-Zerat. There are uncountable holes and miseries which needed to be healed, he added.
In his address M K Bhat president of the Cell Kokernag expressed grave anguish over rigid attitude and functioning of Relief Organisation in tackling the burning issues of migrants, especially in bifurcation of ration cards, restoration of RBA status, hassle free ration supply, renovation and repairs to residential quarters etc.
Durga Nath Bhat urged the Government to take immediate steps for implementation of PM package while Sohan Lal Pandita general secretary took SSRB to task for not holding the interviews and examinations to migrant Pandit candidates under package.
Bushan Lal another leader demanded release of salaries to package employees. ON Bhan A K Dhar, A K Raina, A K Bhat, P L Raina,  PN Bhat and others also attended the meeting.
