PDP-BJP Coalition neglecting people on political grounds: Mir

KISHTWAR, Aug 16: Pradesh Congress Committee president Ghulam Ahmed Mir has alleged that PDP-BJP Coalition is neglecting people on the political grounds in the State.
Addressing series of public meetings at Inshan, Astaan Gaam, Nowpachi, Marwah and Warwan areas of district Kishtwar, the PCC chief said despite knowing that they (PDP-BJP) are losing the ground very fast, the Coalition Government is indulging in political victimization, adding that the people in upper reaches and of  South Kashmir and other districts are being neglected in every respect, purely on political grounds and an atmosphere of distress is being created by the coalition partners aiming to get benefitted politically.
Asserting that people are suffering badly in absence of basic facilities in remote areas, PCC chief said that Government machinery is nowhere visible on ground and the tall claims of PDP led coalition about good governance and development of the State was only to lure the voters for the sake of coming into power.
Describing Coalition Government a complete failure, PCC chief castigated the coalition partners for victimizing the people on political grounds. He said people in several upper areas like Matigawran, Larnoo, Nowbug, Kapran, Kund and in other areas are being victimized on political grounds. He accused the Government of being bias toward multiple problems confronting people and neglecting those areas or people who have not voted for them (PDP) in the elections.
Asserting that Congress Party would not allow any sort of discrimination with any section, group or society, PCC chief assured the people that Congress is fully committed for equal development of the people and the regions.
Expressing deep concern over the pathetic condition of people living in backward and far flung areas of Kishtwar and elsewhere in the State, Vice President JKPCC Ghulam Mohammad Saroori said that people are the worst hit and feel isolated in absence of road connectivity, shortage of rations, lack of basic amenities and infrastructure, there are no teachers available in Schools, Health Centers are without doctor’s, worst condition of roads.
