JAMMU, Nov 18: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and coordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that ruling elite who are beating drums about their achievements, are into self praise and blowing their own trumpet and ignorant of ground realities whereas development has come to stand still and graph of unemployment is showing an upward trend.
In a statement issued here today Hamid said that claims of establishing accountability in the system also stands exposed with majority of anti-graft institutions lying defunct.
The situation, he said has reached such a stage that for every petty administrative decision which the legislatures or executives are supposed to take, people are knocking the doors of judiciary. This indicates that governance is completely missing from the system, no one is accountable or answerable to people and the system completely collapsed.
