RAJOURI, Jan 14: PDD workers under the banner of Provincial Power Employees Union condemned the action of Dy Custodian Rajouri and Naib Tehsildar and alleged that they forcibly evicted the staff and furniture from the PDD office to grab office and land.
In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Sadiq Chib, district president of the PPEU Rajouri, the speakers strongly condemned the action and alleged that police and Custodian Department staff misbehaved with the PDD M&RE Sub Div staff at Rajouri. They also warned the families living in quarters to vacate. They sought intervention of higher authorities and warned to launch agitation. They alleged that Custodian department is claiming that land belonged to them.
