KATHUA, Sept 2: A Power Development Department (PDD) lineman, who received injuries due to fall from electric pole, succumbed to his injuries, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Ameen, son of Mohammad Ismail, a resident of Billawar District Kathua. He was injured on August 25 this year and succumbed to his injuries today afternoon at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased has been handed over to legal heirs.
Billawar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
