REASI, Nov 26: A meeting of ‘J&K PDD Karamchari Union, Reasi’ was held here today under the chairmanship of general secretary, ‘National-State Government Employees Federation, J&K’, Subhash Verma, wherein the Union discussed threadbare their pending demands and demanded regularization of employees.
Hundreds of PDD workers from the remote areas of Reasi participated in the meeting. After threadbare discussion, the Union decided to launch an agitation if their demands are not resolved within two weeks.
The employees are demanding their regularization besides, pending wages, functional promotion against vacant posts and safety material for doing the job safely.
President of the Union, Dev Parkash, general secretary, Krishan Lal besides others attended the meeting.
