UDHAMPUR, Dec 6: A daily wager worker of Power Development Department was injured because of electric shock while performing some repair work on electric pole at Ramnagar, here today.
The victim, identified as Surindar Kumar (45), son of Om Parkash, resident of Ramnagar, was rushed to Sub-District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors referred him to District Hospital Udhampur.
He has been working as a daily wager lineman with PDD and was repairing main power supply line on the pole when he received electric shock.
