It was noticed that the tax payers of the district Reasi had to travel long way either to Udhampur or Jammu for their work related to income tax matters as such the department decided to provide services at their door steps.
“This office will not only mitigate the grievance of the tax payers but would also serve as a good liaison between the tax payers and the Income Tax Department”, Sangeeta Gupta said while speaking on the occasion.
Prior to the inauguration function, the meeting was held in the conference hall of the DC Reasi, which was also attended by Additional DC Reasi Shiv Kumar Gupta and other prominent citizens of the town and also a large number of local tax payers.
