JAMMU, Oct 2: The Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Northern Command), Jammu, celebrated the 269th Raising Day of Defence Accounts Department, here yesterday, with great enthusiasm.
On this occasion, blood donation camp and health checkup camp were organized in collaboration with 166 MH wherein about 150 officials of PCDA (NC) participated.
In the evening, a cultural program was organized. PCDA (NC), Saswati Bandopadhyay, IDAS, was the chief guest on the occasion. Arockianathan, PDDE (NC) was also present there to grace the occasion. IDAS officers, senior officers, staff and their families were also present.
During the cultural extravaganza, children of DAD officers and staff and artists from Information Department, J&K performed cultural programs and made the evening memorable. The cultural items, performed by various artists, were applauded by all. During the program, Motivation Awards, Sports Awards and Hindi Awards were also presented to the winners.
