PCC members discuss poll campaign strategy

JAMMU, Mar 11: The Pradesh and District Congress Committee Jammu members during meetings held here today discussed Lok Sabha poll campaign strategy.
PCC chief Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, who was scheduled to chair the meeting could not arrive due to cancellation of flights in view of bad weather between Srinagar-Jammu. Vice president Th Hari Singh presided over the meeting. Several senior functionaries of the party from Udhampur- Doda and Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituencies attended the meeting. The members discussed and chalked out poll campaign strategy in detail.
They also discussed the ways and means for better coordination within party and National Conference at the grass root level, constituency and the district level. The members expressed confidence that the party and ‘coalition’ would come out successful. They also referred to the major achievements of the party including RTI Act, Right to Education, Right to Food, Right to Work ( MNREGA), Land Acquisition Act, one rank one pension for ex-servicemen, creation of Administrative units and 73rd amendment in Panchayati Raj Act.
Prominent among those present included Mohd Sharief Niaz, DyCLP leader, Mula Ram, Janak Raj, Prem Saar Aziz, Sham Lal Sharma, Suman Bhagat, Khem Lata Wakhloo, Gurmukh Singh, G N Monga, Ravinder Sharma, G S Charak, R S Chib, Indu Pawar, G N Mir Lasjan, Rani Billowria, Subash Gupta, Aslam Goni, Vinod Sharma, Hari Singh Chib, Shah Mohd, Parkash Sharma, Rashid Choudhary, Manmohan Singh, B S Slathia, B S Pathania, R S Pathania, Zaffarullah, Darshan Raina, Bharat Gandhi, Ashwani Puri, Lalita Sharma, Dr Naseem, D S Langeh, Namrata Sharma and others.
Another meeting of DCC Jammu members was held under the chairmanship of Om Chopra, DCC president, in which PCC general secretary Ravinder Sharma and MP Madan Lal Sharma were also present. The poll strategy for Jammu city was discussed in details among the members of DCC, Block committees and Ward president.
