PCC demands constitution of State Minority Commission

JAMMU, May 17:  A meeting of Minority wing of Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee was held here today at PCC HQ Shaheedi Chowk Jammu in which various issues of minority communities of J&K were discussed threadbare.
Gurdarshan Singh, vice chairman of Minority Wing  of PCC,  presided over the meeting and demanded constitution of State Minority Commission. He said that in absence of the Minority Commission, the benefits of various schemes launched by Central Government for the welfare of minority community people do not reach to them and this is the reason of backwardness of people belonging to minority community in Jammu and Kashmir State.
He said that until their demand is not considered, the PCC Minority Wing  will continue its struggle.
