PCC delegates authorize Sonia to choose their next President

JAMMU, Oct 9: All the PCC delegates have unanimously authorized the Congress President  Sonia Gandhi to finalize the AICC delegates and president of PCC from Jammu and Kashmir and also urged  Rahul Gandhi to lead the party in the country.
A meeting of newly elected PCC delegates from Jammu province was held at PCC headquarters, Shahidi Chowk Jammu today under the chairmanship of Pradesh Returning Officer (PRO)   Hussain Dalwai MP (Rajya Sabha), which was attended by APROs  Moqsood Mirza,  Deepak Rathode, PCC President  GA Mir and all senior functionaries, MLAs/ MLCs and other PCC delegates from all districts and parts of Jammu province.
The resolution passed in the meeting, unanimously authorized Congress President  Sonia Gandhi to finalize the list of AICC members and president of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee.
Chief spokesperson of the PCC, Ravinder Sharma said that the resolution was whole heartedly supported and unanimously adopted. The resolution was moved by senior leader  Thakur Hari Singh and seconded by all senior leaders who include senior vice president Sham Lal Sharma, vice presidents Raman Bhalla and Mula Ram, RS Chib, Jugal Sharma, MS Niaz (all former Ministers), MLAs Vikar Rasool, Ch Mohd. Akram and Mumtaz Khan, Naresh Gupta-MLC, Ex-MLAs Parkash Sharma, Shabir Ahmed Khan, S. Majeet Singh and Swaran Lata, BS Syambhyal (Seva Dal Chief) Neeraj Kundan (NSUI president), Namrata Sharma, Ch Shah Nawaz, Kuldeep Verma, Anil Chopra, Nek Ram Manhas, Parveen Sarwar Khan, Thomas Khokar and Gurdarshan Singh.
The speakers lauded the leadership of  Sonia Gandhi who lead the party all through years with great dynamism and vision. They lauded the role and leadership of Rahul Gandhi who is fighting the forces of hatred and leading the party at most difficult challenges. They desired in one voice that Rahul should take over the leadership of the party which is the need of the time.
Hussain Dalwai expressed happiness that the delegates expressed full faith in the leadership of  Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and said that the sheen and shine of BJP Govt is over and now the people of the country have started realizing the falsehood and hollow slogans of Modi Govt and they look towards Congress party to more vigorously lead the campaign to expose the Modi Govt and oppose its wrong policies.
