JAMMU, Jan 9: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir has asked party cadre to get ready taking on the Government to expose their failures and misdeeds and prepare for the forthcoming Panchayat elections.
Addressing a gathering of leaders and party workers at PCC headquarters here today organised by District Congress Committee Jammu (U) led by Anil Chopra, PCC chief asked the party cadre in the State to get ready for exposing the failures and misdeeds of the present `Coalition’ amongst the masses in order to educate them about their falsehood and double standards.
Mir said that series of programmes and conventions would be organised in the days to come throughout in all parts to reach out to the party cadres and people to expose the opportunist alliance which is total failure on all fronts and has brought large scale hardships to the people. He said that the party leaders and workers should leave no stone unturned to highlight the plight and problems of people of different sections and expose the government and make it accountable both inside and outside the legislature.
PCC leader said that weakening of Panchayat Raj system has taken away the basic right of the people in democracy and people would be exhorted to teach the two coalition partners a lesson for their failures, betrayals and falsehood.
