Pawan takes stock of people’s problems

UDHAMPUR, June 15: MLA Udhampur, Pawan Gupta, today visited Malhar Panchayat and took stock of the problems being faced by the inhabitants of the area.
During his visit to various villages of the Panchayat, the MLA interacted with locals including Panchs and Sarpanches, who raised the problem of scarcity of drinking water and said they have still to depend on natural resources like bowli, wells, etc and have to fetch water from far off places and have to wait there for long for their turn.
Pawan Sharma, Ex-Sarpanch requested the MLA to construct roads between Bishora to Malhar, National Highway to Ritti and National Highway to Chalora-Kangroo while Ram Chand, a resident of Kamati said that they have to face lot of hardship in coming to their homes because they have to pass through army area. He said their relatives and friends avoid visiting them as they have to pass through strict interrogation. He demanded that a separate road should be built between DIG Malhar office to Kamati.
Pawan Gupta assured people that all the roads will be constructed within a fixed time frame. He said providing good road connectivity in his constituency is his main agenda and he will fulfill it without any laxity.
