Pawan takes stock of people’s grievances

UDHAMPUR, Dec 12: MLA Udhampur Assembly Constituency, Pawan Gupta today took stock of people’s grievances in a public meeting held at Tikri.
During the meeting, locals disclosed that the villages Khilla, Khanui, Tarmara and Pagyal are not blessed with road connectivity and demanded four kilometer road from Tikri to Khilla-Khanui. The residents of Tikri demanded installation of high voltage transformer in their area and blacktopping of badly damaged Tikri-Katra road.
The villagers also highlighted the problem of monkey menace from last several years, adding, several incidents of monkey biting in whole Tikri belt has been taken place.
Pawan Gupta gave a patient hearing to the people and said that his sole mission is historic development of Udhampur Assembly Constituency and for the overall development of Tikri belt he is succeeded to get sanctioned 21 kilometer link road form Bikhan Gala Tikri to Jib Thathi area at a cost of Rs 20 crore.
He assured the people that four kilometer Tikri to Khila Khanui road is already in his agenda and he will succeeded to get sanctioned with in a very short period. Gupta further assured the people that their remaining grievances shall bring into the notice of concerned authorities for appropriated and early solutions. The MLA also gave necessary instructions to the some district officers for immediate solution of public problems.
