Pawan Gupta seeks vote for development

UDHAMPUR, Nov 20: Independent candidate from Udhampur Assembly segment Pawan Gupta today organized various public meetings in the Udhampur town and its outskirts to garner support and vote.
Addressing public meetings, Mr Gupta said that if elected he will restore the pristine glory of Udhampur and bring it on the tourism and pilgrimage map of country. He highlighted the role of his father and former MLA Lala Shiv Charan Gupta for the development of the Constituency and said after his death the public representative failed to provide proper attention for the development of the area.
While expressing his dismay over the role of BJP towards him and his family with which it had the relation of flush and blood, he said Party totally ignored his services due to which there is a lot of public resentment.
Gupta said that on the persuasion of the people of his constituency, he was left with no alternative but to join the poll fray. He expressed the hope that people will vote enmass in his favour and ensure his victory for the overall development and prosperity of Udhampur.
He said if elected many new developmental and employment generating projects will be taken up in hand by him for the betterment and upliftment of the people of the region.
He said special attention will be paid for infrastructure building to provide better electricity, water supply while the health care and other facilities will also be improved in the district.
