UDHAMPUR, May 11: In continuation of development of Udhampur Assembly Constituency, MLA Pawan Gupta kick started the blacktopping work of road from Garhi to Malard.
A large number of local people and the authorities of R&B PWD Department and political activists were present. Speaking on the occasion the political activists said that with kick starting the blacktopping of the road Mr Gupta has fulfilled a long pending demand of the people. He said this road was constructed 16 years back by the then Member Parliament Chaman Lal Gupta.
While addressing the gathering Pawan Gupta expressed that development is not only limited to urban areas but my mission is to make whole Udhampur Assembly Constituency a Model Constituency of the State and there will be no compromise with the quality of work and authorities have been informed about the same.
He disclosed that the black topping work of same quality of City roads, Battel Ballian, Jakhani to Railway Station, Jakhani to Omala, Sambal Road, Kambel Danga road, Sunari, and Khudduan road has been almost completed and development is still under process.
