JAMMU, Oct 13: All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association has highlighted its demands and urged the Government to concede the same at an earliest.
In a memorandum submitted to Government through the Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Association demanded issuance of GQs in respect of such Patwaris, whose DPC was conducted on August 3, 2014.
They have pleaded that when all requisite formalities stand fulfilled and the seniority list updated, there was no justification in delaying the issue when the Assembly elections were round the corner and Model Code of Conduct is likely to be imposed.
The Association has warned to go on pen down strike if their genuine demand was not conceded at an esarliest.
