RAMBAN, Sept 11: All J&K Patwar Association, unit Ramban has called off their strike after they received a written apology from Police administration today.
Official sources said after the intervention of Divisional Administration and after hectic deliberations between Patwar Association, civil and Police administration Ramban regarding the Sanasar incident the matter was amicably resolved.
President of District unit of Patwar Association Ramban, Harjeet Singh said that they received a written apology from Police administration and all the staff has been transferred from Police Chowki Sanasar and an inquiry has been initiated, regarding the incident.
“Considering all these grounds our strike has been called off,” he informed expressing thankfulness to Divisional Commissioner Jammu, district administration Ramban and Provincial body Jammu, basic members of the Association and clerical staff.
It is pertinent to mention here that Patwar Association/ Revenue Association of District Ramban went on strike on Wednesday against the alleged manhandling of two Revenue Department officials by cops.
