Pathania unveils statue of Shaurya Chakra Awardee

Ramnagar, Dec 16: R S Pathania MLA Ramnagar today unveiled the statue of Shaurya Chakra Awardee Rajeshver Singh, who lost his life in Kupwara on September 4, 2012 while defending a brutal militant attack, killing one of the dreaded militant on spot and driving the rest of intruders out of the Indian soil.
The function was organized by the Ex-servicemen league led by Colonel Krishan Singh Jadeja who while speaking on the occasion underscored the need for honouring such martyrs.  He also appealed the people to donate freely for the cause of martyrs. Major S. M. Sharma, Bhan Singh, Agya Ram Khajuria, SDPO Ramnagar, SDM Ramnagar and a host of people paid their glowing tributes to the departed Soldier.
R S Pathania while addressing the gathering pressed upon the elite to remember, reward and help the families of the martyrs. It is due to the valiant sacrifices made by the Indian soldiers that India stands tall as a biggest democracy of the world, he added.
Mr. Pathania announced to step up a recreation park and a free computer training institute as a memorial in the honour of the departed soul. He further promised to provide 100 percent electrification and drinking water coverage in the village Dehari (Birth place of Rajeshver Singh) in the memory of departed Soldier.
Mr. Pathania further educated the people that the Ramnagar has maximum number of soldiers in the Indian Army than any other area of the Jammu and Kashmir. And the brave valiant soldiers of Ramnagar have always been on the toes to prevent and ward off any damage/misadventure by the subversive forces on Indian soil, he said Dharamveer Gupta presided over the function and presented vote of thanks.
