RAMNAGAR, Jan 31: Taking potshot at opposition political parties, former MLA and State spokesperson of J&K BJP, Ranbir Singh Pathania said that people of Ramnagar have rejected politics of pessimism and negativity.
While addressing largely-attended public meets at Saged, Bhughtrain, Ser- Manjla, Sunetar, Beri, Johr, Bogodh, Kheen and Lehri-Gaghote, Pathania alleged that `agenda-less’ political parties have nothing concrete to make out in front of people but for spitting unfounded venom and vilification campaign against BJP.
“Infact these parties have been dumb-founded and blindfolded by the charismatic leadership, unprecedented development and unparalleled popularity of BJP led Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
“It is distressing to observe that these political parties, their rejected and spent-up leaders have been in power for decades together but for sapping the national resources and wealth these leaders have done least for the public well-being and welfare,” he added.
Pathania said that Jammu has been bestowed with AIIMS, IIT, IIM, Devika Project, Udhampur Radio Station, Ring Road and Smart City project by the BJP led Central Government so on and so forth.
While narrowing down the debate to Ramnagar, he said that the only political legacy left by these leaders was lawlessness, corruption, nepotism, politician-contractor nexus and a visionless working with nothing tangible to show on the socio-economic platform of Ramnagar.
Pathania claimed that his tenure was marked by 100 percent electrification of Ramnagar, completion of Manwal-Majouri-Battal Grid, opening up of two new Degree Colleges, scores of high and higher secondary schools, 800 crores worth road projects under various heads, Rs 60 crores worth Water Supply Schemes to augment potable drinking water access, introduction of National Rural Livelihood Mission in Ramnagar, multipurpose sports stadium at Ramnagar, Chaugan, Panjgrain, Chowki, Kaitha, Town hall Ramnagar and various upcoming projects like Modern Bus stand, Sewerage Treatment plant, sanctioning of fresh KVK and ITI.
Addressing the public at Ser Manjila, Pathania informed that Stage II work on Langa-Ser Manjila, Kaghote-Ledi-Shumb, and Parkha-Upper Chanunta roads will be taken up very shortly.
He further said that work on Kaghote-Dalsar road worth Rs 8.5 crores is going to benefit at least 10000 souls. He further assured to take up the rest of issues with the concerned departments/agencies for immediate redressal.
