RAMNAGAR, June 7: While reviewing various developmental schemes and projects pertaining to Ramnagar Assembly segment with district/tehsil/block level officers of various line departments and agencies of Udhampur district and affording public hearing in ‘Janta darbars’ at Manwal, Ramnagar, Basantgarh and Dudu, R S Pathania, MLA Ramnagar, has called upon the officers to ensure maximum public participation while initiating various developmental schemes, programmes and projects.
After a detailed discussion on working of various departments, Pathania directed various departments to complete road-projects, buildings, public utilities, laying of electricity and drinking water lines within the stipulated time-period. He directed SDM Ramnagar to locate place for an alternative bus stand in Ramnagar town.
He informed the people that a regional-level transformer repair workshop is shortly being commissioned at Udhampur. He also inaugurated newly-constructed school buildings at Pardhaka, Reudi, Langera, Roun Flungu and culvert at Chatriari (30Km of Ramnagar to Basantgarh road).
Pathania vowed to end reign of maladministration, misgovernance and lawlessness in the area of Dudu-Basantgarh. He announced that work on Basantgarh to Khaned road and Ghar Ghatyas to Seoj Dhar road shall start very soon. He also assured road connectivity to Siameri, Chigla Balota and Charribangla, three far-flung villages of the area.
The meetings were attended by district-level officers of PWD (R & B), RDD, PMGSY, PHE, Education Department, Soil Conservation wing, Forests, Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Floriculture, Sheep Husbandry, Animal Husbandry, Social Welfare, Health, Sports, Revenue and many other Departments.
