Ramnagar/Majalta, Aug 29: After recovering from a murderous attack on him at Paldai (Ramnagar), R. S. Pathania, general secretary, Pradesh Youth Congress, was welcomed by his supporters and well-wishers at Majalta as well as at Ramnagar finally massive programmes at Khoon (Majalta) and Rani Park, Ramnagar attended by massive gatherings amidst deafening renting of slogans, ‘R. S. Pathania zindabad’, ‘Gundagardi nahin chalegi’.
Speaking on the occasion at Khoon & Rani Park Ramnagar, Mr. Pathania reiterated popular demands of Ramnagar as employment for youth of Ramnagar, tapping of potential in fields of tourism, pilgrimage, educational and adventure tourism, horticulture, sericulture, apiculture, a Master Plan, with long-term as well as short-term ramifications, for Ramnagar having space for recreational and sports facilities, viable tourist base for tourist areas (information centers, snow-skiing and general awareness for religious places from Ramnagar in place since times of Pandavas), for a green zone, truama centre / hospital etc.
He also voiced demands of a Sub-district Hospital in Majalta and Accidental Hospital at Dhar Road, Manwal and a C.H.C. at Basantgarh. He also demanded black-topping of Ramnagar to Ghordi, Chowki-Kotwalt road, Ramnagar to Sunetar road and Kulwanta to Garh Samna Banj roads, connecting of Basantgarh-Khaned road to Macchedi-Lohai/Malhar in Kathua district and start of work on Dudu to Kailash road thereby create an effective road-links for the peoples of three districts separated from each other by geographical barriers.
He also called for immediate finalization and starting of work on upgradation-cum-widening of Ramnagar to Basantgarh road. He has sought immediate improvement and black-topping of Ramnagar to Basantgarh and Ramnagar to Dudu roads.
