Pathania kick-starts various developmental works

RAMNAGAR, Jan 28: Ranbir Singh Pathania,  MLA Ramnagar, today  kick-started work on 34 meter steel-girder bridge on Dallian-Satyan road,  estimated to be constructed at the cost of Rs one  crore.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that he was committed to transform the riff-raff road connectivity scenario of the areas of Ramnagar. He said when he took over as MLA, almost all the roads of Ramnagar were lying in shambles but he took it up as a mission to metal and macadamize all these roads. He reiterated his resolve to macadamize all the roads and provide electricity to all the hamlets/households of Ramnagar by the end of 2019.
The MLA also kick started macadamization (Stage-II) works of Gurlang to Sullan road under PMGSY at the estimated cost of Rs 05.00 crores. The said road shall benefit more than five thousand people of the adjoining areas. While kick starting the projects, he  called upon contractor and executing agencies to ensure quality work as well as adhere to the time deadline and further advised the public to remain vigilant about the quality of work being taken up by these agencies. He also announced macadamization of 13 kms of Dallian-Satyan road costing Rs 07.65 crores and two motorable bridges across the road costing Rs 01.20 crores. He also kick started macadamization of Bari-Laddana road costing Rs 08.00 crores, which shall benefit as many as ten thousand people.
While addressing people at Janta Darbar at Satyan, Pathania issued instructions to various departments/agencies for on-spot redressal of hardships and problems of the people. He directed local administration to give a fillip to the developmental tempo in these hitherto neglected areas and ensure that time bound and effective delivery of services is administered in these areas.
Pathania said that due to the acts and omissions of few Government officers and lackluster approach of political functionaries, work on University Campus at Ramnagar was stalled but is likely to resume soon as he has taken up the matter with highest authorities. He said that now on account of provisioning of funds by University Grants Commission, the remaining work on the campus will be completed and students will have access to the state of art campus at Dalsar, Ramnagar.
Pathania was accompanied by District Heads of various departments.
