RAMNAGAR, Oct 12: In pursuit of his efforts to ensure that fruits of development reach the urban and rural areas alike, MLA Ramnagar,  Ranbir Singh Pathania  today kick started blacktopping and macadamisation of two major roads namely Ramnagar-Johnu and Chowki-Dalsar roads.
Addressing a  gathering  on the occasion,  the MLA  informed that blacktopping of Ramnagar-Johnu road from Kilometer 1st to Kilometer 6th RD 500m with 50mm thick Bitumen and 25 mm SDBC will be completed at an allocated cost of Rs  1.52 crore. Similarly, blacktopping of Chowki-Dalsr road from Kilometer 1st to 3rd will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs  82.93 lakh, he added and  informed that quality and time bound completion will be the hallmark of these works.
The MLA  said that roads are the vital lifelines of any developed habitation and ensure in easy percolation of benefits to rural areas be it education, health or essential supplies.
He informed that Ramnagar constituency will be witnessing a ‘face-lift’ as civil works worth Rs 400.00 crore have been tendered and are going to be started very soon. He further informed that Indoor sports complex worth Rs 3.5 crore has been sanctioned and work on it is going to be initiated very soon. It was also informed that Sports Department has been further instructed to prepare DPR for construction of outdoor sports complex at Ramnagar which will give a big boost to nurture the sports talent in the  area.
The MLA was accompanied by Rajinder Sharma, Sham Lal (Mandal Pardhans),  Jagmohan Singh, Master Gopal, Master Dawood  and  Shonku Kharka.
