Pathania for humane approach during anti-encroachment drives

RAMNAGAR, Aug 5: While undertaking a five – day tour of Ramnagar area and addressing largely attended meetings at Dhema, Jagwal, Satrari, Khattan-Bain, Chudaal, Dak-Bungalow Ramnagar, MLA Ramnagar Ranbir Singh Pathania took a first hand stock of the basis issues and problems raised by the people of area.
While interacting with deputation of local shopkeepers, led by Joginder Bangathia, president Beopar Mandal Ramnagar, Mr Pathania called upon the local administration to adopt a humane and people friendly approach while carrying out eviction/anti encroachment drive. He was categoric in passing instructions to the effect that use of force should not be resorted in any case. He further framed a committee of administrative officers as well as respective citizens of the town who shall felicitate removal of encroachments in a congenial and peaceful atmosphere.
He announced upgradation cum improvement of Ghordi to Ramnagar road, supposed to be completed at an estimated cost exceeding Rs 40.00 crores. The said road which acts as lifeline for more than 35,000 to 40,000 population, has been in shambles since long.
Mr Pathania announced upgradation of transformer at Baba Pughdar (Jandrore) and laying of shed near Khattan-Bain. He further gave directions to various departments to ensure opening up of all choked road channels and suspended irrigation canals, electricity and drinking water supply lines. He was again vocal in directing PW(R&B) Deptt to take immediate coercive measures to ensure that damaged BT (within defect liability period) is repaired at the earliest. He also called for time bound and qualitative progress of all developmental projects in the area of Ramnagar.
Sham Lal (Mandal Pardhan), Shonku Kharka, Raghuvir Sharma, Capt Mohan Singh, Master Raj Gopal, Rakesh Kharka, Mulkh Raj, Mohan Lal, Bodh Raj, Capt Des Raj, Rattan Chand, Sunil Kumar, Bodh Raj, Raju, Rattan Sharma, Ranjeet Sharma, Rakesh, Sunil Sharma, Sunil Kumar, Romesh Sharma, Rameez Sheikh and Mohd. Akbar were among the persons in delegation.
