Pathania demands task force for employment to migrant workers

MAJALTA, May 29: Given the situation that has emerged after the return of migrant workers, Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson, J&K BJP today demanded setting up of a task force for reviving employment avenues of these ‘uprooted’ people by soft-term loans, capacity building and motivating them to start small vocations in their home villages.
He called ASHA workers as first line of defence in country’s fight against Corona and felicitated ASHAs as well as employees of health department in Tehsil Majalta. He said that ASHAs in collaboration with health staff did a commendable work in door to door screening of people as well as making aware about various healthcare initiatives and instructions of the Government.
The BJP leader also felicitated BMO Majalta, doctors, paramedical staff and other officials of local civil administration.
He said that fight for reviving the economy shall be more vigorous than the one which is going on against the dreaded pandemic.
He said that PM Modi’s clarion call for establishing ‘Atam Nirbhar Bharat’ has opened up a window of hope and optimism.
Pathania also called for immediate evacuation of stranded people of Ramnagar from various parts of Kashmir and Ladakh.
Kuldeep Singh, General Secretary BJP Udhampur; Sanjeev Singh, Vice President BJYM Udhampur; Pawan Sharma, President BJYM Majalta and others were also present on the occasion.
