RAMNAGAR, Oct 6: MLA Ramnagar Ranbir Singh Pathania today announced a new filtration plant for Ramnagar town so that clean drinking water is supplied to every household of Ramnagar town.
This filtration plant will be new technology based rapid sand filtration tank. Work on Sundla filtration tank is already underway with full pace. These new technology based filtration plants remove the turbidity of water and make it fit for human consumption.
Pathania said he would ensure that each and every household/hamlet of Ramnagar has access to clean drinking water. Keeping in view the topography and terrain of Ramnagar constituency, it is an uphill task to provide clean drinking water for all but I am promise-bound and necessary efforts are underway to provide potable drinking water to each and every household and hamlet of Ramnagar,” he asserted.
Earlier in the day, Pathania chaired monthly public grievance cum officers meet at Town Hall Ramnagar, which was largely attended by public, District and Tehsil officers of various Government departments and party functionaries.
During the course of meeting, various issues related to water, electricity, foot bridges were raised and redressed satisfactorily. The MLA directed PWD and PMGSY authorities for immediate restoration of Rang-Blandh, Kulwanta-Jopher, Suneter-Dhanwalat and other clogged roads immediately. He also instructed Education Department to immediately overcome staff shortage in staff deficient schools and forward cases for upgradation of various schools.
While speaking on the occasion, Pathania laid emphasis on the “empowerment of Aam-Aadmi” as envisioned by Prime Minister. He directed for immediate payment of pending wages under MGNREGA and called for the involvement of public during formulation of Developmental Plans in Gram Sabha meetings. He said that PM’s dream of “Gareebon Ka Bharat” will be actualized only when Aam Aadmi is empowered and that is the essence of democracy.
Besides Tehsildar Ramnagar, Ramesh Singh, Sectoral officers and party functionaries including Kuldeep Sharma, Ram Lal Khajuria, Raghuvir Sharma, Mohan Singh, M J Khan, Vijay Kumar, Raj Gopal, Raj Kumar, Bikram Singh, Sarpanches/ panches were present in the meeting.
