HARIDWAR, May 3: Two renowned organizations of the country-Patanjali Research Foundation and SRM Centre for Clinical Trials and Research, Chennai on Friday signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for analysis and research work on Ayurvedic medicines and for their clinical trials.
On this occasion Acharya Balkrishan, general secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth along with chief scientist of Patanjali Research Foundation, Dr. Anurag Varshney and Dr. Nitin M Nagarkar, Dr. Satyajit Mahapatra and Dr. Sarasvati Tripathi from SRM Centre for Clinical Trials and Research, Chennai were present.
Speaking on the occasion Acharya Balkrishan said that this MoU will become a milestone in Ayurvedic research.
“These two research institutes will show the efficacy of Ayurvedic medicines to the world,” he further said.
Dr. Nitin M Nagarkar said that this MoU will work for giving the ancient medicinal therapy of India its due place at international level.
Senior faculty members of Patanjali Research Foundation Prof. (Dr.) Y.K Gupta and Anurag Shrivastav were also present on the occasion.
