Passenger taxi rams into tree, six injured in Udhampur

JAMMU: At least six passengers were injured when a taxi they were travelling in rammed into a tree in Udhampur district.

“A passenger taxi on its way from Himachal Pradesh to Udhampur on Saturday morning rammed into a tree at Paldai Majalta in District Udhampur,” a police spokesman here said.

He said six people were injured and shifted to PHC Majalta from where all referred to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.

The injured were identified as Suresh Kumar, 48, resident of Findoo, Rakesh Kumar, 25, resident of Seri,  Krishan Chand, 45, Raj Kumar, 29, Ranjeet Singh, 30, and Prem Singh, 32, residents of Chamba,Himachal Pradesh. (AGENCIES)
