JAMMU, July 15: Arrived here on six-day visit, Passenger Services Committee of Indian Railways today started inspection of various Railway Stations across Jammu and Kashmir for assessing the services to Railway passengers.
Headed by Chairman Ramesh Chandra, the committee today inspected Srinagar and Pampore Railway Stations. It will be followed by inspection of Budgam as well as Mazhom Railway Stations on July 16 and then inspection of Sopore and Baramulla station on July 17.
On way to Jammu from Srinagar on July 18, the committee will inspect Banihal Railway Station following which inspection of Katra and Udhampur Railway Station will be conducted on July 19. Before departure on July 20, the committee will conduct inspection of Jammu Tawi Railway Station.
The committee is being assisted by ADRM JAT, Baldev Raj, DDM Ferozpur, Sudeep Singh, CAM Srinagar, Saqib Yousuf and Station Director Jammu, Uchit Singh.
