Passenger lifts among other requirements; Vridh Ashram urges donors for help

JAMMU, May 30: The Management Committee of Home for the Aged and Infirm (Vridh Ashram), serving the abandoned, neglected and destitute senior citizens with compassion and dedication for over six decades has appealed to the public, volunteers and social organisations to refer any abandoned or helpless senior citizen to the Vridh Ashram, so that he/she is given proper care, shelter, medical assistance and emotional support free of cost.
In a press conference here today, Dr. Dinesh Gupta, Secretary of the Vridh Ashram informed that there is requirement for two passenger lifts for both the residential blocks of the Vridh Ashram.

He also informed that two inverters with double batteries for backup (instead of gen set) along with modern kitchen equipments including Roti making machine, dough making and dough ball making machines (two in number), rice cooking machine, potato peeling machine etc are also needed for the better functioning of the Vridh Ashram.
The management committee has appealed to the kind hearted donors, philanthropists, social organisations and charitable individuals to support.
