JAMMU, Sept 7: State president of NCP, Thakur Randhir Singh today appealed all the political parties to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Kashmir and wage united fight against Pakistani aided terrorism in the State.
Talking to media-persons here today, NCP leader said that unfortunately Hurriyat leaders had been encouraged right from 1975 till today by successive State Governments. These people had just little influence in some parts of erstwhile Anantnag district where National Conference thrived and afterwards Congress Party merged under the leadership of the then Chief Minister Late Sayed Mir Qasim along with Late Mufti Mohd Sayeed. And now, her daughter Mehbooba Mufti successfully created vast space playing the effective opposition role.
The NCP leader demanded that a National United Front should be framed to fight against Pak aided terrorism collectively. He also lauded the courageous latest statement of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in which she has warned Hurriyat leaders not to make youth and women of Kashmir as their shield for their vested interests. He said that facilities given to the Hurriyat leaders should be snatched as they have been indulging in anti- India movement. They do not deserve free treatment , travel, accommodation, security etc.
He further demanded delimitation of Assembly Constituencies as Jammu and Ladakh have vast area but less seats as compared to Kashmir which has smallest area than these two regions.
Senior leaders K K Digra, Dr Liazqat Ali, Satpal Sharma and R S Jamwal were also present.
