Poonch, Aug 5: Workers union CITU of Parnai project is on sit in protest from Monday demanding release of wages and to fulfil many other demands.
DDC member Surankote Shahnawaz Choudhary visited and supported the protest of CITU at Parnai hydro electrict project 37.5 MW Draba Surankote on Friday, where the union workers were sit on protest from last Monday for their wages and other demands.
Shahnawz Choudhary said the demand of union is to provide them pending salary if five, six months, to give them safeguards, equipments while doing work, Ambulance on spot for any emergency.
He called project manager and shares all problems being faced by workers infront of union, asked to resolve the issues and warned to face consequences if the genuine demands may not be fulfilled.
Shahnawaz said that i have talked with project manager and a meeting of workers have been planed with him tomorrow where all issues will be resolved.
