JAMMU : A Parliamentary Committee will visit the fire-affected areas of Trikuta hills where cave shrine of Vaishno Devi is located in Resi district on June 8.
The Parliamentary Committee on Science, Technology, Environment and Forests will visit the fire-affected areas of Trikuta hills of Jammu and Kashmir on June 8, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Pawan Kotwal said.
They will review the measures and steps taken by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) to contain the fire.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the concerned departments to make adequate security and logistic arrangements for the team’s visit. (AGENCIES)
