JAMMU, Apr 2: A Mechnical Engineer by profession Dhiman Parija has assumed additional charge of Executive Director, NHPC Limited, Region-Jammu.
He was welcomed at Jammu by senior officers of NHPC and employees of Regional Office, Jammu.
He will be responsible for all operating NHPC Power Stations in the State of J&K. Parija is a competent professional with over three decades of extensive experience in Hydro Power Sector and was instrumental in completion of 390MW Dulhasti Power Station in Kishtwar during his earlier assignments in the State.
Presently, Parija is also having the charge of Executive Director Region-Banikhet for all operating power stations in the District of Chamba (Himachal Pradesh).
