DODA, July 20: Former MLA and senior BJP leader Daleep Singh Parihar assured the people of redressing their issues but fails to maintain social distancing while conveying meetings with them.
Former MLA today conducted the tour of far flung areas Manoo, Gali, Malat and Chilly areas in Block Chilly of Bhaderwah constituency to take stock of problems being faced by the people.
However, the former MLA failed to maintain social distancing while clicking pictures with the people during his visit to these areas. Even, he was seen not wearing mask while clicking pictures after the meeting.
During the meeting, people raised various issues including dilapidated condition of Bhatyas-Manoo road. The people said that the construction work on this road is going on for the last 12 years, but has not completed till today, which creates problems for the commuters.
Majority of the people living in aforesaid areas are Schedule Tribe, the people said and rued that various beneficial schemes meant for ST category are nowhere in sight on the ground.
Pending wages and payments of MGNREGA job card holders were also among issues raised by the people during meeting with the former MLA.
Parihar while addressing the gathering in aforesaid areas assured the residents that all the issues raised by them will be redressed in a phased manner.
Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved for overall development of the Jammu and Kashmir, he added.
“All the development works, which people raised with me will be executed”, he added.
Among others present were Mandal Pardhan Chilly Munir Ahmed Sheikh, BJP leader Mela Ram, Jaswant Singh, etc.
