JAMMU, Feb 24: Pardeep Sharma was today elected as president of Non Gazetted Agriculture Graduates Association (NGAGA) the elections of which were held here today.
Ashwani Sharma was elected as vice president while V K Ambardar was elected as general secretary.
Pardeep Anand was elected as joint secretary, Ashok Kumar as chief organizer, Parveen Singh Bahu as treasurer, Jatinder Singh as press and publicity secretary.
While the contest was held for posts of president, vice president, joint secretary and treasurer, while other posts were elected unopposed. Total 312 votes were polled. The election was held under the supervision of S L Thusoo and Anil Kumar Pandoh who were designated by the NGAGA for the same.
Later addressing the meeting of the NGAGA Pardeep Sharma complimented the members for their support and assured that the new team will come to their expectations.
He made an appeal to the Government to settle the pending demands of the JAEOs without further delay.
