JAMMU, Jan 11: Paramhansa Yogananda Marg was inaugurated in Jammu by revered Swami Shri Nitayananda Giriji of Yogoda Satsang Society of India in the presence of Municipal Commissioner Jammu, Kiran Wattal on Akhnoor road, here today.
The inaugural function was attended by large number of devotees of Yogoda Satsang Dhyan Kendra, Jammu one of the dhyan kendras of Yogoda Satsang Society of India/Self Realization Fellowship of World.
On the occasion, Swami Shri Nitayananda Giriji also inaugurated free medical dispensary for general public inside the premises of Yogoda Satsang Dhyan Kendra, Jammu and awarded three educational scholarships among meritorious students namely Nitish Kichloo, Priyanka Manhas and Vikas Sharma of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology of Jammu.
During the function, Swami Shri Nitayananda Giriji enthralled the devotees with spiritual discourse on principles of balanced living and deliberated upon the utility of practicing Kriya Yoga to strike the balance between material aspirations and spiritual enlightenment.
Devotees were served with ‘priti bhog’ at the culmination of the function.
