Pansar residents meet DC Kathua, hand over charter of demands

KATHUA, Oct 30: The residents of village Pansar met DC Kathua and showed their public resentment over 20 kanals of land allotted to the Government School Pansar is being encroached by some nomads.
The residents led by Lambardar Parmod Singh of Pansar, demanded that the land be immediately restored to the school. They handed over the charter of demands for early consideration through DC Kathua and onward forwarding to Dr Nirmal Singh, Dy Chief Minister and Jatinder Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNer) MoS , Personal, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space.
The memorandum said that land is Ancestral, the villagers shall not allow to allowed to be encroached by strangers, near BOP for construction of a play ground for the children . They demanded that the land be immediately restored to the school failing which a mass movement will be launched by them.
