JAMMU, Nov 10: The Government today appointed Sudanshu Pandey, an IAS officer of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre, who retired from services last month, as common Election Commissioner for Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
Pandey retired as Union Secretary in the Department of Food and Public Distribution.
He held various important posts in Jammu and Kashmir before proceeding on the Central deputation.
