REASI, Oct 27: Alleging that the administration from village level to district level was not listening to their issues of public importance, all the Panchayat Members of Panchayat Halqa Salal Kotli have submitted their resignation to the Deputy Commissioner Reasi.
In the resignation letter, the Panchayat members have alleged that the demands and proposal in their Panchayat wards are not given due consideration and execution in the plans and proposals of block development programmes.
“The administration from the village level to district level, including GRS, Gram Sevak, BDO, ACD, ACR etc is not listening to our issues at all. They are doing any work for the development of Panchayat. We approached them several times and submitted various letters , however, they have not given any preference to our issues,” they said in the resignation letter, signed by Sarpanch Pritam Singh, Naib Sarpanch Rajinder Singh, Panch Ajeet Singh, Panch Joginder Dev Singh, Panch Shakti Devi, Panch Rajinder Singh, Panch Sandlo Devi and Panch Khem Raj.
