Government is taking several steps to control the spread of Coronavirus in the country. The idea of setting up Panchayat Level Centres is a good initiative as rural areas are witnessing unprecedented surge of COVID cases. It will be a small five bedded hospital at grass root level. It will play a vital role for containment of the virus and breaking the chain of Corona virus. These centres will be approachable to the people who are residing in the rural and far-flung areas. Some people in rural areas who seem infected are not revealing their disease to the doctors because of the fear of disgrace and humiliation. If these centers function people will approach freely and without any hesitation. Moreover Panchayat level centres will reduce rush of patients at the hospitals in the city. The Government must set up such type of centres without wasting any time.
